People can be so disrespectful, however here’s something that came to my mind once, while I was contemplating retaliation on a hurtful & otherwise ballsy person in my life: Since we all don’t start at the same mark^ we can not all be held to the same standard. [how we've been raised, intellectual, spiritual levels, dictate our comprehension & influence our individual style of behavior] Keep doing what bribgs you peace. Haters are insignificant in the lobg run.

The same thing happens with writing. I learned early on that criticism is more constructive than praise. Praise is great to boost the ego, give yourself a pat on the back, but criticism is what strikes you the most. Even if it’s bad, you can turn it to good. The key is not letting the fear of failing holding you back as well. Keep it up!

Congratulations on being able to reflect about why that experience bothered you. Great realization.

I so appreciate your honesty about your fears. Too many times we put up a “front” so we can look professional, etc. But your honesty helps all of us to realize it is okay to acknowledge our own fears. We can then overcome our them and get to the other side.

I am in the middle of a project that is making me step out of my comfort zone. Part of me wants to retreat! But, the other part is telling me to keep going. Fortunately, that is the part that is winning.
