HOW TO FIND THE CALM WITHIN THE CHAOS
We live in a world that is constantly changing. Sometimes the world feels like a friendly place and other times… well, not so much. So during those times, the difficult ones, how can we remain calm within chaos? It’s a tough question to answer, isn’t it?
I have always been a questioner, seeking answers to help navigate this rollercoaster of a world that we live in. I have experienced the same confusion, angst, and challenges that many of us face in life and wish to use this platform as an opportunity to share the tools, techniques, and teachings that have assisted and continue to assist me on own personal path.
And so back to the question, “How can we shift into a space of peace?” Perhaps, instead of continuing to look outside to find our answers, we can begin by looking within.
It is within that we can discover and change our core beliefs. It is within we can find forgiveness and create alignment in our thoughts, speech, and action. It is within that we can make the decision to accept, change, or leave a situation. And if we feel we have no choice, it is also within that we can surrender.
By shifting our perspective peace can be found without necessarily requiring any external change. One small shift can change the way in which we experience the world. As Anais Nin poetically states, “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are.”
These are but a few of they ways we can strive to find the calm within the chaos. Day by day I continue in my own quest to find the calm within. Some days I am more successful than others. And on those days I will continue to share what I discover.
